The new prerequisite states "No once-through cooling with potable water for any equipment or appliances that reject heat". Does this exclude IDDE systems?

Per the LEEDv4 Reference Guide "Duration-based savings from auto-control faucets w/ automatic fixture sensors or metering controls are no longer allowed in the design case.

If cooling towers are located offsite at a central utility plant, does the project need to comply with the cooling tower requirements of this prerequisite?

Process Water Uses

Our projects frequently have process water uses in labs or other equipment that is not listed here, as well as laboratory faucets, or hose wash down areas. How are these to be handled in v4?

My project is an Investigation Center which has laboratories. The lavatories found in the lab area (chemistry) should be considered in this credit?

WaterSense Labeled Products

Reference Guide indicates WaterSense label requirements are mandatory in U.S. Right now the program for the WaterSense label on toilet flushometers is still in draft stage.
