project with courtyard walls...

We have a small project with a courtyard with an area pretty much doubling the building footprint which has a wall (concrete wall, not a fence) all along the peripheral yard.

Our project has two facades extending along sidewalks. Going by the credit requirements, we cannot have more than fifty feet of blank facade.

street trees requirement

Our project has two street frontages. One we have been able to work with the City to have street trees planted.

Safe pedestrian access to the building please!

I would like to see this credit evolve to include pedestrian access to the building. Most cities in my country are very pedestrian oriented and can comply with this credit´s requirements.

The building is parallel to the street, cross street it's a biking line, can this still count towards the credit, please advise.

How is distance between street trees measured? From center to center or from the border of the crown to the next crown border?

We were inspired to test out this credit because of the huge increase in students walking to school after we completed a full renovation of a historic school in North Adams, MA.
