Since LEED came along many cities (DC, NYC,BOSTON) have now added bike share programs.

This piggy-backs to my previous comment about bike rack locations. Per the published Campus/Group Eligibility Credits & Prerequisites for LEED 2009, SSc4.2 - Alternative Transportation Bicycle

The credit form presents two cases to select, if the project includes "commercial/institutional spaces" and/or "residential spaces".

Our project has bike racks and showers in an adjacent facility.

Do mixed bathrooms count towards this credit? We have showers in the building but we don't have them separated for both female and male.

Our project in NYC has a Citi Bike location less than 200 yards from the entrance. The owner will pay for up to 80% of the annual cost for all employees.

I am working on a rather unique residence hall building that has a variety of uses. I am trying to determine what spaces need bike storage and shower/changing facilities.

Any chance an outdoor shower with curtained off changing area would qualify in a hot, arid climate?
