Do I need to include the areas on the site which are covered with decomposed granite in my hardscape calculation?

We have a Tower pursuing LEED NC certification being built on top of an existing Podium with basement parking. The Tower officially starts on top of the Podium.

We have a light rail transit project that we have designed so that the train storage yard is located beneath a 200+ space concrete parking deck with the LEED project building located on the deck.

For underground parking to qualify, can the roof just meet the CRI of at least 29 requirement without being either a green roof or covered by solar panels?

We designed a building/garage right up against an existing building/garage.

Is there a high SRI artificial turf out there in the market? Been trying to do some research, no luck.

Would entry stairs to the building be considered part of the building footprint, or part of the site hardscape? Thanks.

I was just wondering if anyone has attempted combining compliant SRI/shading by trees (option 1) with underground parking (option 2) for this credit.
