Service Hot Water Efficiency Proposed vs. Baseline
NC-2009 EAp2:Minimum energy performanceposted by Paul Bohres on
How do you account for the difference in service hot water efficiency from the proposed design to the baseline design if the proposed design is using electric point-of-use water heaters?
Is waste heat district energy?
NC-2009 EAp2:Minimum energy performanceposted by Haojie Wang on
We have a project that use heat recovery chiller to recovery heat from the waste heat from a nearby data center.
Energy Modeling and LEED
NC-2009 EAp2:Minimum energy performanceposted by Lisa Abraham on
We are creating a Revit model using Revit 2014. Going for LEED2009, (ASHRAE 90.1-2007). Do we need two models? Thinking of bringing model into eQUEST. Is that necessary to determine baseline vs.
DHW Model Inputs
NC-2009 EAp2:Minimum energy performanceposted by Wes Lawson on
All, We are attempting to accurately model the gas energy usage for the DHW system in a recent residential building.
process load: water treatment plant
NC-2009 EAp2:Minimum energy performanceposted by Mark Palmer on
I see that several water treatment plants on the LEED registered and certified list.
EA advanced Energy metering credit (LEED v4)
NC-2009 EAp2:Minimum energy performanceposted by Angelina Ten on
Dear all, Currently I have a project where energy meters comply with all the corresponding credit requirements except that they do not display energy demand.
Manufacturing Plant Addition - Option 3
NC-2009 EAp2:Minimum energy performanceposted by Aaron Wascher on
I am working on a manufacturing facility addition where the owner wants to pursue LEED certification. The LEED energy model turned out that we are not going to meet the 10% minimum.
Hvac - Baseline System Descriptions
NC-2009 EAp2:Minimum energy performanceposted by Marina Andrade on
Hi, I am trying to classify an HVAC System (for the Baseline model) of 3731 m2 distribuited on 6 conditioned floors (HealthCare facilities). Checking the Table G3.1.A (Ashrae 90.1-2007) apparentl
weather data
NC-2009 EAp2:Minimum energy performanceposted by Tarek Dalati on
i m using HAP 4.41 for HVAC load calculation and energy modeling but unfortunatly the weather data available is hourly average s it ok to use for leed energy simulation or i ahve to go to another f
What will the minimum OA be if hood exhaust hood is present
NC-2009 EAp2:Minimum energy performanceposted by Haojie Wang on
We have a culinary school, the minimum OA per 62.1 is only 10k cfm, but the fume hood exhaust can go above 100k cfm.
