Instantaneous and/or totalized
EBOM-2009 EAc3.2:Performance measurement - system-level meteringposted by James Gray on
For natural gas metering applications, is continuous logging of instantaneous flows a requirement? Most meters just put out totalized pulses, so I'm assuming that's fine... Any thoughts?
Commercial Building with Tenant spaces fully submetered
EBOM-2009 EAc3.2:Performance measurement - system-level meteringposted by Energy Spectrum on
I am wondering if a commercial building, where over 90% of the building is submetered tenant space would qualify for this credit.
Subsystem or End Use Type
EBOM-2009 EAc3.2:Performance measurement - system-level meteringposted by Ran Zhang on
On page 200 of the LEED-EB reference guide, Table 1- Sample Summary of Energy and Metering Capacity lists major energy-consumption subsystems and end-uses.
Occupancy in the building
EBOM-2009 EAc3.2:Performance measurement - system-level meteringposted by Alberto Cardenas on
My question is if the occupancy of the building is a single person in this case of an institution and has no tenants can apply for this credit.
Can gas metering only qualify for EAc3.2?
EBOM-2009 EAc3.2:Performance measurement - system-level meteringposted by James Doyle on
Under LEED EBOM 2009 I am considering attempting metering under credit EAc3.2 for a 200,000 sq. ft.
measuring heat pump load for system submetering
EBOM-2009 EAc3.2:Performance measurement - system-level meteringposted by ethan adams on
I have about 35 ceiling- mounted heat pumps throughout the building, and it would be cost-prohibitive to install a separate meter on each one.
Gas metering
EBOM-2009 EAc3.2:Performance measurement - system-level meteringposted by Oana Stamatin on
In our office building, the annual Gas Consumption accounts for more than 40% of the total annual energy consumption. The gas is used for Heating and for Cooking (for a Restaurant).
Mixed use meter
EBOM-2009 EAc3.2:Performance measurement - system-level meteringposted by Alicia Villanueva on
We have a meter that measures: chiller + pump + lighting system. Since we are not discriminating by "end use": would this meter qualify towards this credit? Thanks GH
Period & time of Breakdown
EBOM-2009 EAc3.2:Performance measurement - system-level meteringposted by Alexa Stone on
Hi all, I'm confused about when OR over what period of time does the breakdown need to capture. I understand that it needs to roll up to the EAc1 declared annual energy use (mbtu).
EAp2/c1 Metering Requirements Also Earn EAc3.2?
EBOM-2009 EAc3.2:Performance measurement - system-level meteringposted by American University on
If we had to meter things like hot water usage and chillers on a building level to comply with EAp2/c1 to do building-level metering of all incoming energy inputs, would we automatically be able to
