Pilot-Credits MRpc103:Integrative Analysis of Building Materials

Integrative Analysis of Building Materials - LEED v4 CS

I found the information relatively easy to find with the documentation provided by the product manufacturers. It was definitely easy to fill in the information by prioritizing the products that provided EPDs, HPDs, Declare labels, etc. I am curious how this effort would have been made easier, or will be easier, with the impact of Common Materials Framework being out now.

When working on the product research for this credit, I had a similar thought about the v5 BPSP credit, which also incorporates the Common Materials Framework. Working on this pilot credit now feels like it supports a more holistic view of products and the ripples of interaction they have from cradle to grave/cradle.  Having also done some product review for v5 research, the holistic thinking is a big shift.
